Ireland signs for the win
Back to reality today... But thankfully there are still a few more #WildeAbroad posts to share throughout the next week to keep me occupied!
My time in Ireland was magical - it was 7 days filled with beautiful green landscapes, singing Irish songs in the streets with the locals until the wee hours of the morning, arcade games in Galway (I'll go into this in my next Ireland blog post) and I witnessed two family friends get married in a castle... A CASTLE. Being a die-hard type-A personality, it goes without saying that I love the planning that goes into the weeks leading up to a big trip; researching activities to do, mapping out neighboring towns to visit and cute restaurants that will let me continue living a #healthyishot life. I planned, I organized and I soaked up every ounce of Ireland that I could (my liver can testify).
This was my very first time in Europe (AH!) one of the first things I noticed was how quirky the signs were... Now, I'm not sure if this is true for Europe as a whole or if the people of Ireland just like to inject a little personality in everything they do, including signs. Here are a few of my faves:
# 1 - Get low when scooping the poop
#2 - Keep an eye on your car, it might go rogue
#3 - The world is your catwalk, don't leave your strut at home.
#4 - You know what they say about a man with big feet...
#5 - Don't 'Pokemon Go' and drive
